The 11th China Trade Week (CTW) Kenya will take place from 22–24 July 2026 at the Kenyatta International Convention Centre (KICC), Nairobi, Kenya, bringing together manufacturers, technology providers, investors, distributors, buyers, policymakers, and industry leaders from around the world. Organized by MIE Events FZCO, the exhibition will be co-located with the 6th Africa Technology Show (AFTS), 4th Africa Build Show Kenya (ABS), and 3rd MEGAWATT Africa, creating one of East Africa’s largest multi-sector B2B and B2G platforms focused on trade, investment, technology, construction, manufacturing, and energy.
Now in its 11th edition, China Trade Week Kenya has established itself as one of East Africa’s leading international trade exhibitions, serving as a strategic gateway that connects global suppliers with buyers, distributors, investors, policymakers, and key decision-makers across the region. The 2026 edition is expected to welcome over 8,000 trade visitors, 200+ exhibitors, 100+ speakers, facilitate 1,000 B2B meetings, and attract participants from more than 20 countries, creating outstanding opportunities for networking, partnerships, and international business expansion.
The event comes at a time when Kenya continues to strengthen its position as one of Africa’s fastest-growing economies. The country’s GDP (PPP) is projected to reach approximately US$419 billion by 2026, supported by sustained economic growth, infrastructure development, expanding regional trade, and an increasingly favorable investment climate.
Kenya’s economic momentum is being driven by major national development initiatives, including the US$25 billion LAPSSET Corridor project, the US$4.6 billion Northlands City mixed-use development, KSh 15.1 billion allocated to ICT initiatives, a US$1.8 billion electronics market, and KSh 24.8 billion invested in healthcare infrastructure. These strategic investments continue to unlock opportunities across manufacturing, technology, construction, energy, healthcare, consumer goods, logistics, and infrastructure, reinforcing Kenya’s role as a gateway to East African markets.
David Wang, Chairman of MIE Group, stated: “For over a decade, China Trade Week Kenya has connected the world’s manufacturers with one of Africa’s fastest-growing markets, creating one platform where trade, technology, innovation, and investment meet, and where real business gets done. Kenya is not an emerging opportunity; it is a present one.”
