This new facility, referred to as MPC 3, represents a significant addition to the provider’s portfolio and expands its partnership, adding to existing operations. The total occupied space now exceeds 965,000 sq ft. Established over a century ago, the provider has grown into a comprehensive supply chain services firm, focusing particularly on e-fulfilment within fashion and lifestyle sectors.
According to the general manager of real estate at the company, the facility’s combination of availability, capacity, and sustainability perfectly aligns with their operational needs. With a footprint of 588,000 sq ft and an internal clear height of 18 meters, the facility maximizes cubic space efficiency. Its BREEAM Outstanding certification ensures future-proof sustainability, enhancing the company’s UK portfolio. “This transaction marks our continued expansion, underscoring our commitment to growth,” stated the general manager.
The development director highlighted the growing significance of the location as a pivotal logistics hub. He emphasized the attractiveness of the market for expanding businesses, noting the ongoing demand for state-of-the-art, sustainable logistics facilities. The facility is set to host a new logistics campus and national supply chain hub, following a recently announced lease agreement in May.
