In a significant move aimed at enhancing nationwide delivery service accessibility, South Korea’s largest e-commerce enterprise has announced plans to invest over 3 trillion won ($2.2 billion) in expanding its logistics infrastructure by the end of 2026.
The investment will facilitate the extension of free, one-day delivery services, known as “rocket” delivery, to almost the entire country. Particularly, residents in rural areas, often underserved by traditional retail outlets, stand to benefit significantly from this expansion.
