Dubai South has partnered with a global leader in logistics to open a cutting-edge facility in its Logistics District, marking a significant step in strengthening the region’s supply chain operations. This new collaboration emphasizes the growing need for efficient and advanced logistics solutions in the Middle East to support increasing trade and e-commerce activities.
The new 23,200-square-meter facility will offer a range of services aimed at boosting operational efficiency. These include warehousing, inventory management, order fulfillment, transportation management, pick-and-pack services, and quality control. It will also serve as a container freight station, specializing in export services and shipment consolidation, streamlining the entire logistics process from start to finish. Operations are expected to begin in February 2025, further enhancing Dubai’s position as a regional logistics hub.
Strategically located within Dubai South’s Logistics District, the facility benefits from direct access to both Jebel Ali Port and Al Maktoum International Airport, ensuring smooth connectivity and reducing transit times for goods. This collaboration will not only support businesses in meeting the growing demands of international trade but also foster economic growth in the region.
As the logistics landscape continues to evolve, this partnership strengthens Dubai’s status as a global logistics leader, driving innovation, efficiency, and connectivity in the supply chain sector.
