Vietnam has taken a significant step forward in strengthening its logistics capabilities through a new partnership between the aviation and postal sectors. The agreement focuses on building modern supply chain infrastructure, enhancing global connectivity models, and advancing comprehensive logistics solutions to meet the demands of international trade.
Under the cooperation, investments will be directed toward the development of warehouse systems, logistics centers, and distribution hubs at new airports across the country. This initiative is expected to streamline cargo handling, improve distribution efficiency, and expand logistics services nationwide.
The postal sector will deploy an integrated chain of services, covering transportation, storage, cargo handling, and distribution, fully aligned with aviation infrastructure. With an extensive service network across urban, rural, and remote areas, alongside advanced warehousing and transport centers, Vietnam is positioning itself as a logistics hub ready to support the growth of cross border e-commerce.
Meanwhile, the aviation sector will continue to play a key role in managing and expanding the nation’s airport infrastructure, currently spanning more than twenty airports. This collaboration highlights the country’s commitment to digitalisation and smart logistics, ensuring greater efficiency, reliability, and resilience in its supply chain.
