Vietnam has taken a significant leap forward in advancing its logistics capabilities with the inauguration of its first and most modern logistics park. Spanning 143.7 hectares and backed by a nearly 3,300 billion VND investment, the park is set to revolutionize the country’s logistics landscape by offering comprehensive services for import-export operations, including customs clearance, inspections, warehousing, and cross-border transportation.
Designed with the latest technological innovations such as IoT, 5G, AI, Big Data, and Digital Twins, the logistics park enhances efficiency across supply chain processes. These technologies enable smoother operations, reducing customs clearance time from several days to less than 24 hours and cutting costs by 30-40%. The park also boosts the efficiency of refrigerated container transport, increasing its monthly trips from 2.5 to 4-5, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery of goods.
In alignment with global sustainability efforts, the park is designed to meet the U.S. LEED standards, with over 3,300 trees, renewable energy systems, and a circular economy model. This eco-friendly approach reflects a growing commitment to minimizing the environmental impact of logistics operations while optimizing supply chain efficiency.
The introduction of the V-Gate application further enhances the park’s role in transforming supply chain management by allowing businesses to book services online, seamlessly integrating various logistics systems for greater operational transparency and accuracy.
This initiative is part of a larger strategy to establish a smart, automated, and multimodal logistics ecosystem across the country, strengthening Vietnam’s position as a regional logistics hub. By creating such advanced infrastructure, the country is set to offer businesses faster, more cost-efficient, and sustainable supply chain solutions.
