A leading global e-commerce and logistics company has announced it will begin offering guided public tours of its large-scale fulfilment centres in Delhi NCR and Bengaluru starting in the fourth quarter of 2025. This marks the official debut of its global warehouse tour programme in India, following similar initiatives across North America, Europe, and Australia.
Unveiled during a recent logistics and innovation event held in Tokyo, the initiative aims to provide the public with a firsthand look at advanced warehouse operations, technological integration, and the role of the workforce in modern supply chains. Each tour, lasting between 45 and 60 minutes, will be free to the public and offer insights into how customer orders are received, stored, processed, and dispatched for delivery.
The facilities in Delhi NCR and Bengaluru are among the most expansive in the region, with one site boasting over 2 million cubic feet of storage space. These centres serve as crucial hubs in the company’s network, supporting fast and efficient order fulfilment across the country.
Company representatives emphasized the importance of transparency and public engagement in logistics. The tours will highlight how automation and skilled teams work in tandem to create one of India’s most advanced distribution systems.
Globally, the public tours programme has already hosted more than 2 million visitors across several countries since its inception. In India, sessions will be held three times a week at each location, limited to 20 participants per tour. Visitors aged six and above are welcome, and all guests must follow safety guidelines, including wearing closed-toe shoes and securing personal belongings.
The initiative reflects a growing trend in the logistics sector toward increased visibility and public education about the inner workings of supply chains.
