Paul Kobina Mensah is a highly experienced business leader and the Chief Executive Officer of Mass Logistics Ghana Ltd. With a strong focus on logistics and transport, Paul has played a pivotal role in the success of the company and the freight logistics industry in Ghana offering a wide range of services for international transportation, oil and gas material handling, project cargo management, and warehousing. His extensive expertise in the industry, dedication to exceptional customer care, and commitment to timely deliverability have positioned Mass Logistics Ghana Ltd as a trusted partner in the logistics sector.

Paul’s journey in the logistics industry began in 2005 when he established Mass Logistics Ghana Ltd in Accra. Over the years, the company has expanded its operations to serve the West African region with offices in Tema, Takoradi, Accra and Abidjan, Paul’s leadership and strategic approach have enabled Mass Logistics Ghana Ltd to establish strong partnerships with reputable organizations such as the Ghana Institute of Freight Forwarders (GIFF), International Federation of Freight Forwarders Associations (FIATA), World Cargo Alliance (WCA), and the International Trade Council.

Paul has successfully executed numerous contracts for local and international clients, contributing to the growth and success of Mass Logistics Ghana Ltd. His notable accomplishments include designing a Last Mile Distribution system for Regional Medical Stores in Ghana’s Eastern, Central, and Volta regions. Additionally, Paul introduced WhatsApp platforms to the Ghana Institute of Freight Forwarders (GIFF) in 2013 and provides teaching services as a part-time lecturer at the Regional Maritime University and GIFF Academy. He has been the Chairman for Takoradi District, 2nd Vice National President and is currently the 1st Vice National President of GIFF. He is also the Logistics & Transport Sector head for Ghana National Chamber of Commerce & Industry.

Paul has witnessed significant developments in the logistics industry, including increased knowledge, awareness, and capacity building. He recognizes the importance of adopting new technologies and trends such as Enterprise Resource Planner (ERP), transportation applications, and the Single Window system to enhance efficiency and streamline operations.

The industry currently faces challenges such as limited access to finance for undertaking larger projects, difficulties in identifying and addressing fake practitioners, and the impact of certain government policies. However, Paul envisions a vibrant and relevant industry in the next 5-10 years, with advancements in technology and increased professionalism.
