As anticipation builds for the upcoming second edition of the China International Supply Chain Expo (CISCE), over 90 Chinese and overseas companies have already pledged their participation by signing letters of intent to exhibit, reports the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT), the event’s host.
The CCPIT recently concluded the first phase of overseas roadshows to promote the second CISCE, engaging with audiences in countries such as Malaysia, Singapore, Japan, Mauritius, Ethiopia, and Egypt. With online registration now open, the council is set to continue organizing promotional activities to attract both domestic and international companies, as well as professional buyers, to the event scheduled for November 26 to 30 this year.
The second CISCE aims to foster collaboration across various sectors, including clean energy, smart automobile, digital technology, health and life, and green agriculture. It will feature specialized segments and a dedicated exhibition area for supply chain services. Attendees can expect special forums, investment promotions, business matchmaking events, and new product launches throughout the expo.
Functioning as an inclusive international platform, CISCE serves to connect enterprises of all sizes, facilitate industry-academia-research collaboration, and promote interaction between Chinese and foreign companies. The success of the inaugural event in 2023, which saw participation from over 500 Chinese and international enterprises, underscores the significance of such platforms in fostering global cooperation. Over 200 cooperation agreements and letters of intent, amounting to more than 150 billion yuan (approximately 21 billion U.S. dollars), were signed during the inaugural expo, according to data from the event’s website.
The upcoming CISCE presents an unparalleled opportunity for businesses to explore partnerships, showcase innovations, and contribute to the advancement of global supply chain networks. With its comprehensive agenda and international participation, the event is poised to facilitate meaningful exchanges and drive impactful collaborations in the supply chain industry.
