A transformative logistics initiative is underway in Cameroon, poised to elevate Africa’s role in global trade. A leading logistics provider is developing a state-of-the-art 30,000-square-meter logistics hub near the Port of Kribi—Cameroon’s only deepwater port. This development is expected to significantly enhance regional supply chain efficiency and strengthen import-export operations across Central and West Africa.
The facility, scheduled to open between September 2025 and January 2026, will offer 25,000 square meters of container storage and 5,000 square meters of warehousing. Its strategic location—just 2 kilometers from Kribi’s port—positions it as a key corridor for trade flow and cargo handling in the region.
This investment aligns with ongoing efforts to modernize logistics infrastructure across the continent. The company also plans to expand its footprint into four more African countries by year-end, building on its presence in 24 nations and accelerating Africa’s integration into global supply chains.
In a separate move supporting aerospace logistics, the firm has renewed a three-year agreement to manage daily transport routes between North Africa and Europe. The multimodal transport system combines road and sea freight, enhancing the speed and reliability of supply chains supporting high-precision industries. Goods are handled through efficient cross-dock sites in Europe, streamlining both inbound and outbound flows.
These developments highlight a strong commitment to building resilient, future-ready logistics networks. With Africa playing a growing role in the global supply chain, this expansion ensures better connectivity, cost efficiency, and trade facilitation for regional and international partners.
